The Roseau Smart Lab is the result of years of development to create an accurate representation of the electrical grid for a neighborhood of 12 homes. Each home has a controllable consumption module and its own photovoltaic generation facility, which injects energy into lines and causes voltage and current rises that are detected by smart meters, etc.

It is the perfect setup to experiment with flexibility using the smart metering infrastructure, such as our Grid ExpanDER technology. It makes it possible to reproduce the behavior of a real electrical network with great precision, and to test Smart Grid solutions under conditions that are very similar to those in the field.

With the Roseau Smart Lab you have everything you need to test your new Smart Grid solutions under realistic conditions on a physical grid, without any of the abstractions that are typical of other approaches.
